HPL hosts its very first tournament for the year with The Clash: COO Cup.

Who says you can’t have fun at work? HPL Game Design kicks off its first tournament of the year with The Clash: Overwatch 2 tournament.

To participate in the tournament, HPL employees formed their own teams within the company: team Easy Ease, Breaktime, Gladius, Pepsikels, Chinese Mafia, Da Coops, De Moaners, HN Esports, Agnaticus, Chigus, HN Kulot, Grafic Masters, and Negus. The first game took place last February 9 on HPL’s official Twitch channel.

After the preliminaries, eight groups move into the quarter-finals: HN Kulot, Breaktime, Gladius, Chinese Mafia, Grafic Masters, De Moaners, Negus, and Agnaticus. In the quarter-finals, four matches commenced, and four teams advanced into the semi-finals: Breaktime, Gladius, De Moaners, and Agnaticus. In the semi-final match between Breaktime and Gladius, Gladius emerged victorious. Between De Moaners and Agnaticus, De Moaners triumphed. The two amazing teams, De Moaners and Gladius went head-to-head to become The Clash tournament champions After the final thrilling match, Gladius took home the victory!

Overwatch 2 is the latest installment in the beloved Overwatch franchise. It’s a free-to-play, team-based action game that provides the ultimate 5v5 battlefield experience, released last October 4, 2022. Since then, it has captured the hearts of Overwatch fans, including us!
